Apple Trifle ( Recipes )

Ingredients: ( for one serve)

60g granny smith apple

½ tsp sugar

10g soft bread crumbs

½ tsp berry jam

Pinch all spice

Pinch cinnamon and pinch of nutmeg

¼ cup of water

½ tsp lemon juice

Apple Trifle


  1. Peel, core and chop apple. Add water, sugar and apple to a saucepan and cook until tender. Add lemon juice, allow to cool and mash. Combine breadcrumbs and spices and brown mixture in a non stick pan.
  2. Assemble the trifle in a glass dish. Start by layering crumb mixture in the base of the bowl and add apple sauce and yoghurt in layers. Add remaining breadcrumbs mixture on top and cover and refrigerate. Drizzle melted jam over trifle and serve!
